Yahoo mail irks me

Time taken for Login verification: 45 seconds
Session span: Not even for 5 minutes, that too while I was active composing a mail all those 5 minutes.
Relogging : Doesn't succeed even for 8 tries.
What do you call that performance, irk is rather euphemism. I should say 'SUCKS'.
Gmail is way many times better than this, honest. I rather should have made mary fernandes choose gmail.

How many times did you face that challenge? You are lucky not to get Google Server Error! Also, compare the number of users using GMail vs Yahoo mail. As a database student you should appreciate the scalability issues. Don't trust Google too much. One day they might give a complete report about you when it is least expected.

Yes shashank, I concur that scalability is _not_ users' problem. Afterall yahoo must sure be having (like every other email provider) some business sense behind my registration. So, why the heck should I be considerate when using Yahoo. I found in the current situation a better mail provider and named it. But, that however shouldn't be treated a lifetime endorsment for gmail either. If they resort to bug me with those kind of Google Server Errors, they would see my wrath on this very same blog. (woo... am I sounding like a pre-independence freedom fighting orator?)
