Mr. Argjun 'Sin'gh, become sane!
Reservations to the extent of 50% even at the level of last leg of career education, at the level as elite as IITs, IIMs, Medical degrees - shame shame. The face who advocates for it should view itself in a mirror and if it is that of any sane person, at the least it would feel that the conscience is spitting back at it for such a stupid proposal. I'm sick and tired of the politics in this nation. Is that what you call respecting constitution... when you failed to alleviate the backward classes in the original time limit set by the great practical visionaries of the constitution? Is that what you call respecting constitution... when you use the reservations concept as a tool to increase the divide between rich and poor, rich becoming more rich and poor being trodened down even poor. Is that what you call respecting constitution... when you use it shamelessly as a vote bank tool and thereby making the disparity conspicuous and ever lasting, which is totally against the spirit with which the concept was introduced in the constitution.
Oh God! let some shame adorn on the man behind this idea that he stops ordering water cannons and lathi charges on the future doctors protesting the idea. Oh God! let some shame adorn on the man behind this idea that he comes out of his insane world and looks at his face in the mirror in a real world.

I am not planning to be a citizen of this country if such stupidity continues. Reservation in public sector is digestable but it being rubbed onto private institutions is beyond any sensible thought. Happened to read today morning that Maharastra govt is planning to pass a bill for 50% reservation for private schools in the coming assembly meetings. The forward and other castes are also to be blamed for this insanity happening around. Not one, not even one organization is standing up to make leaders realize what they are doing. 'Caste' I tend to remember my caste only when someone talks about reservation, otherwise never would I happen to give that proper thought.
