*Out of topic* I was just looking for some info on Us visas and landed up in ur blog. So did u book an appointment for ur parents? I am trying to book but the dates are available only in Nov. I ve been trying for 3 weeks now. I cant believe I ve to wait for SIX months. Thats so ridiculous, dont ya think? Anyway, lemme know if u ve any info on this. I wud be grateful. Hope your sister is doing well.

Its peak time dude with lot of students trying their visas. Btw, what kind of visa are you applying for?
If its a tourist/business visa (for your parents), to the best of my knowledge (it might be little outdated by now), there is no other go than to try your luck by constantly monitoring the available dates. Around afternoon 11-2 there would be some cancelled dates opening up, watch out!
But if its for a student visa (for you), and you have ur I-20s etc ready and the joining date is fast approaching you can lodge an emergency request and try for an appointment at Delhi consulate.

Thanks Jayachandra. Its tourist visa for my parents that I am trying to book. Like you have written in your earlier post, even if I find an earlier date availabe, it does nt show while I try to book. I called the embassy and they say that the avilable dates might be opened for a single person interview and since I am trying to book a group appointment (for 2 persons!), it might not show the dates it seems. Some weird funda! So did you get an early appointment for your parents? Heres wishing to us! Thanks again.

I got it from a friend of mine. However am not really sure if she is the original content generator. Nevertheless, why not do something like this. I'd update my blog giving credit to whosoever was the original electronic copy generator of this marvellous piece of info and u can happily tag this post in ur blog.
